AlarmAgent battery service life

The battery that RACO has chosen for the AlarmAgent RTUs is the Power Sonic Model PS-1212 (12VDC, 1.4 amp hour). 

In Stand-By mode, with an ambient temperature of 68�F, the battery should have an approximate retention capacity of 70% to 95% after 5 years in use, as shown in graph below.

RACO recommends replacing the battery every 3 years for optimal results.
