Commom Questions for the Guard-it
- No Power.
- Cannot Program the Guard-it.

Guard-it Common Questions.
- No Power:
- Check the 12V power supply input.
- Verify if the RED power LED is lit in the bottom left corner.
- Cannot Program the Guard-it:
- Try programming with a different phone.
- If the issue persists, return both the phone and Guard-It for repair.
- Ensure the programming phone jack is not accidentally connected to the phone line. A phone line carries 50V DC, which can damage the programming jack.
- Cannot call out & Cannot receive phone calls:
- There are two phone jacks on the Guard-It dialer.
- Ensure the phone line is plugged into the phone line jack at the bottom left, not the programming phone jack on the front of the device.
- Message not Recording or Shifting Speech:
- Perform a JB-3 factory reset. Try recording again. If the issue persists, send the unit for repair.
- Shifting speech is a known bug. After recording, confirm the message by listening to the playback. Failing to confirm the message may cause speech corruption and shifting.
