What does the ordinal number do on the Manage Users page?

On the Manage Users page, the ordinal number is used in reference to the "Everyone" group. If a notification group has not been selected for a particular channel, power failure, or watchdog alarm, the system will ensure notification by placing the alarm in the Everyone group.

The ordinal is the order the users are contacted when the Everyone group is notified.

Users in the Everyone group will be contacted via the "preferred" contact method configured on the User Edit page. For example, the user with ordinal #1 will be contacted first, the user with ordinal #2 will be contacted second, and so on, until the alarm is acknowledged, or if the notification continues, the system will continually loop through all the users until the alarm is acknowledged.

Note: Users with an unverified email address cannot be contacted via the everyone group if the user's preferred contact method is email.
