What are the keypad menu options available when calling the Catalyst?
When an over-the-phone session is initiated, either by dialing the unit or the unit dialing you, you will be asked to enter a five (5) to start the session. If PINs are configured, you will be asked to enter a PIN. Once the session has started, you have several menu options available:
(Keypad #) : Action
(1) : Acknowledge ALL alarms, enter PROGRAM mode
(2) : Enter read-only PROGRAM mode (alarms are not acknowledged)
(3) : Acknowledge ALL alarms, then report all Unreported and Non-Normal Channels not
vlinked to Destination
(4) : Enter SEARCH mode
(5) : Repeat the Menu Options
(6) : Repeat Unit ID message, Preliminary Report, and Complete Status Report
(7) : Mark ALL alarms as reported without acknowledgement
(8) : Acknowledge ALL alarms, reported or unreported and give a count of
the number of alarms
(9) : Acknowledge ALL alarms, then report all Unreported and Unacknowledged Channels not
linked to Destination
(0) : Terminate Session
If PINs have been configured, then hearing the reports and the ability to acknowledge and perform various other actions is dependent upon the authority level of your user PIN.
