How can I get the Catalyst to leave a voice report on my voicemail or answering machine?
The PA System destination type can be used to leave a voice message on an answering machine.
When you enable a PA destination type, enter the phone number of the answering machine.
- To get the timing right, you will need to add delays to the end of the dialing string.
- Entering a comma in the dialing string will delay the next operation by one second.
- It may be necessary to add as many as 15 to 20 1-second delays.
It will be a little more difficult is attempting to navigate a voice mail system, but it is possible.
