How are SMS messages configured?
The way the message building algorithm works:- It clips RTU Name and Company Name to 18 characters
- Then calculates the size of the message without the alarm details
- Then clips the alarm message to fit in however many characters are left (123 characters total)
- A hard clip at the end of message generation has been added as a failsafe to ensure the message is delivered
